Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions
Effective from: 16/07/2025
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services and installations provided by OmniOrigin Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) and set out the basis on which we work with you, our customer (“you”, “your”).
By accepting a quotation, booking a consultation, or proceeding with an installation, you confirm your agreement to the following terms.
1. Consultations & Assessments
We aim to provide clear, accurate information based on your current energy usage and property layout. Recommendations are made in good faith, based on the data available at the time. If additional issues arise during the site survey or installation, we will inform you and discuss suitable options before proceeding.
2. Quotations & Pricing
All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Prices include VAT (where applicable) and installation, unless itemised differently.
Any changes to system design or scope after acceptance may require a revised quotation.
3. Booking & Deposit
To confirm your booking, we may request a deposit. This secures your equipment and an installation slot. Deposits are non-refundable unless cancelled within the stated cancellation period or under circumstances set out below.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling
You may cancel your order within 14 days of acceptance without penalty.
After this period, cancellation fees may apply based on equipment already ordered or work already scheduled.
We reserve the right to reschedule your installation in the event of delays outside our control (e.g., weather, DNO approval delays, supply chain issues). You’ll be informed as early as possible.
5. Installation & Access
You are responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access to the property during installation.
We will carry out all work with care and respect for your home, and will tidy the work area once complete.
If unexpected building or electrical issues are uncovered, additional work may be required — we’ll explain this clearly before making any changes.
6. Warranties & Support
All products we install are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, typically ranging from 5 to 10 years (depending on the item).
OmniOrigin provides workmanship warranties on installation.
If something goes wrong, please contact us directly. We will assess the issue and support any warranty claim or repair promptly and professionally.
7. Ownership & Payment Terms
The system remains the property of OmniOrigin until payment is received in full.
We reserve the right to withhold or disable access to certain components (e.g., monitoring platforms) until payment has been completed.
Payment terms will be outlined in your agreement and may include staged payments or finance agreements with third-party providers.
8. Energy Performance & Limitations
All forecasts, simulations and savings illustrations are estimates based on usage data and manufacturer performance figures.
Actual results may vary based on weather, energy consumption patterns, and other property-specific factors.
We do not guarantee specific savings or return-on-investment outcomes.
9. Liability
We will not be held liable for:
-
Events beyond our reasonable control
-
Loss of revenue or data caused by system downtime
-
Delays caused by third parties, including DNOs or warranty service providers
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under consumer law.
10. Data Protection
We treat your data with care. Any personal information collected is used solely to deliver our services, comply with regulations, and keep in touch with you.
We do not share your information with third parties unless required to do so by law or where necessary to carry out your installation (e.g., DNO notification).
You can read our full Privacy Policy.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising will be subject to the jurisdiction of the relevant courts.
If you have any questions about these terms, please get in touch with us directly. We're here to help, not to confuse.
